The Love List ~ Time For the Passion

Participating with someone you love, on a project that is near and dear to their heart, can be the ultimate gift to them.

Their project ~ such a huge undertaking of their time, energy and other resources ~ is obviously one of their PASSIONS and your investment in it, showing your participation, is the biggest GIFT you can give.

An inspiring and amazing woman has gifted me with her friendship ~ and after five years of this interaction I am continually inspired by her focused, unwavering and copious attentions ~ to her pet project ~ her passion named and claimed ~ Orphans in Mexico.

This coming Wednesday ~ February 9th ~ at Moe Joes Nightclub in Vernon ~ the 2nd annual Sweet Smiles Fundraiser will take place, with all of the proceeds going to help the newest projects and the ongoing efforts of Barrita Durward, of Cottons Chocolates.

I have been invited to play a role at this party ~ to lend my skills to an effort that has been given life through Barrita’s dedication ~ and for her, this interaction is the ULTIMATE way to show love and support for her efforts.

Tuning into what is important to those you love, and gifting your time, your ability and supporting those efforts….is a truly priceless gift that could not be replaced with all the flowers you could carry, or other gifts you may choose.

So ~ think about the ones you love ~ not just at Valentines, but as often as you can ~ and hone in on that one special project [realized or not!] that they speak of, dedicate themselves too…..and find a way to help.
